Wow, I didn’t realise it had been so long since my last post about my quilt challenge 30. Last time I blogged I was up to 19 finished quilts. Now I am up to number 27. This post is going to show a few quilts so be patient.
Quilt number 20 was a quilt I made for my cousin for her 50h birthday. I made it using Zen Chic’s True Blue fabric using a layer cake and using my pattern Mixed Triangles. This picture was taken on the Tweed River NSW.
Quilt 21 was a Superman quilt I was commissioned to make, picture taken on the banks of the Tweed River, NSW.
Quilt number 22 was another commissioned quilt using my Batman quilt pattern. A bit of a theme happening here I think, lol. I forgot to take a picture of this quilt finished so this is a picture of when i got the top finished.
Quilt number 23 was a commissioned cot quilt using Tula Pink and plain pink and aqua fabric in a carpenters star pattern.
Quilt number 25 is another quilt I have designed and it called Elle quilt. I have not yet finished writing the pattern for this one yet. This is in Tula Pink and plain purple fabric.
Quilt number 26 is a scrappy giant log cabin quilt using left over jelly roll strips. I made this at a quilt retreat in May. I love this quilt.
Quilt number 27 is my cascades quilt, another jelly roll quilt. I used a tutorial from Jenny of the Missouri Star Quilt Company. Picture taken while on holidays at the Sunshine Coast.
As you can see, I have been pretty busy quilting these last couple of months and I still have give quilt tops waiting to be quilted. I’m sure I will get another three done before the end of the year to meet my challenge of completing 30 quilts in 2017.
